Description
Grapes: 80% Corvina & Corvinone Veronese, 20% Rondinella
Yield per Hectare: 120 q/ha
Training System: Pergola Veronese, single or double depending on the area
Production Area: Hills of Marano di Valpolicella (classic and historic zone)
Soil: Predominantly calcareous-Eocene type
Vinification: Produced from selected grapes sourced from vineyards located on hills at an altitude between 200m and 350m above sea level, in the heart of Valpolicella. Soft pressing, controlled-temperature maceration and fermentation. After racking, the wine rests in cement or steel tanks for approximately two months before bottling.
Appearance: Intense ruby red, clear and almost opaque
Bouquet: Fruity and vinous, fresh, with hints of cherry, pepper, and aromatic herbs
Palate: Light-bodied and dry, savory and balanced, with the typical slightly bitter aftertaste
Alcohol: 12.5% Vol
Recommended Pairings: Ideal with first courses, meat dishes, cured meats, game, and medium- to long-aged cheeses
