Description

Rosé LAMOUREUX draws its identity from Pinot Noir, the typical grape of the Les Riceys terroir. This champagne is 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. The nose reveals the fresh red fruits typical of Pinot Noir. The fruitiness is bright, opening with notes of raspberries, cherries, and especially wild strawberries. Behind this red fruit puree, smoky and mentholated notes refresh the typically summery aromas. On the palate, it is a true marriage of fruit and structure. Chardonnay, present at 10% in the Pinot Noir-dominated blend, gives the wine tension and minerality.
