Organic D.O.P. Product

The Organic San Marzano DOP Peeled Tomatoes from the Agro Nocerino–Sarnese embody the most authentic and time-honored agricultural heritage of Campania. Grown in the heart of the fertile plain between Naples, Salerno, and Avellino, they are the result of meticulous selection and organic cultivation methods that respect the natural rhythms and principles of the land.

Their history dates back to the 18th century, when—according to legend—the first tomato seed arrived in the Kingdom of Naples as a gift from Peru and found its ideal habitat in the Agro Nocerino–Sarnese, evolving into the “San Marzano” we know today. Since then, this variety has become a symbol of Neapolitan farming and culinary culture, officially recognized in 1996 with the award of the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP).

On the palate, San Marzano DOP Peeled Tomatoes are distinguished by their firm, fleshy texture, their deep and vibrant red color, and their unmistakable flavor profile: delicately sweet, low in acidity, and naturally rich in umami. With a complex and enveloping aromatic character, they are preserved in their own juice to maintain their full organoleptic integrity.

Ideal for enhancing ragù, sauces, soups, and gourmet pizzas, they represent the perfect choice for those who seek purity and authenticity in traditional flavors. The Organic San Marzano DOP Peeled Tomatoes from the Agro Nocerino–Sarnese, signed Magno 1973, bring to your table the legacy of a unique territory and the passion of generations who have transformed the land into culinary art.
